SUBARU is the 26th largest automaker in the world in terms of production. Its boxer engine layout and all-wheel drive made it popular. Its turbocharged versions of family cars, like the Impreza WRX, also made it incredibly famous, especially in the rally scene. It was launched in the 1930s as an aircraft research and manufacturing factory during World War 2. By the end of the war, the company turned to scooter and car manufacturing.
